Showing up to Skydive Georgia I tried to keep myself calm but it was nerve-wracking. A few of my friends and I all did tandem jumps. It was nice that we all got to do it at the same time and share the whole thing. All of the people were nice and the equipment was basically brand new. I wish I could say that I was ready for it but I don’t think anything prepares you to jump out of a plane. The employees made it about as worry-free as possible for something so intense. I would recommend this place and would probably go back for more if I wanted to jump again in the future.
What you should know
We have been assisting people in making their first skydive for over 23 years! We have a tonne of experience!
There is approximately 10-15 minutes of training on the ground before you are suited up and ready to board the airplane.
We have successfully brought down thousands of jumpers from 14,000 feet and above in the sky! Zero fails.
If you choose a tandem skydive where you are paired with a USPA-certified instructor. This offers you a low-responsibility way to experience freefall for the first time. There is approximately 10-15 minutes of training on the ground before you are suited up and ready to board the airplane. This is absolutely the safest and most popular way to make your first skydive!
The other option is to do Accelerated Freefall (AFF)(ISP). See next column!
The AFF/Integrated Student Program (AFF)(ISP) involves a 4-6 hour ground school, starting at 8 a.m., where you will learn everything you need to know about skydiving solo. This is a seven jump program. After passing all seven jumps, you will be cleared to jump entirely by yourself.
As one of the top skydiving schools in the Southeast we can usually complete an entire AFF course in a weekend. If you are on a budget, then you can pay as you go doing one or two jumps every 30 days until you get through the course. We also offer very reasonable bundle options if want to pay up front and save!

I didn’t really know what to expect when I went for my tandem skydive. I’ve wanted to do it for a while and finally picked Cedartown to do it. Overall, I felt like the pricing was good and I got everything I was looking for. I was definitely a little bit nervous at first but the staff there put me at ease. Once I heard how many successful jumps they’ve had, I relaxed a bit. They also seemed as excited as I was to jump, which was nice. They have a passion for the business and it shows. If I ever want to join a community of jumpers, this is where I’d plant myself.Derek WilkinsonCave Spring GA
