What You Should Know
Tandem Skydiving
If you choose a tandem skydive where you are paired with a USPA-certified instructor. This offers you a low-responsibility way to experience freefall for the first time. There is approximately 10-15 minutes of training on the ground before you are suited up and ready to board the airplane. This is absolutely the safest and most popular way to make your first skydive!
The other option is to do Accelerated Freefall (AFF)(ISP). See next column!
Student Program
The AFF/Integrated Student Program (AFF)(ISP) involves a 6-8 hour ground school, starting at 8 a.m., where you will learn everything you need to know about skydiving solo. This is a seven jump program. After passing all seven jumps, you will be cleared to jump entirely by yourself.
As one of the top skydiving schools in the Southeast we can usually complete an entire AFF course in a weekend. If you are on a budget, then you can pay as you go doing one or two jumps every 30days until you get through the course. We also offer very reasonable bundle options if want to pay up front and save!
