The most modern and effective way to learn to skydive solo is to do USPA’s Integrated Student Program or ISP.
At Skydive Georgia our United States Parachute Association certified instructors will take you through a 4-6 hour Ground School. After you complete the ground school you will be entered into a seven jump student program. The first three jumps you will be accompanied by two instructors who will be there to stabilize you and guide you but you will have your own parachute and equipment. The fourth jump through the seventh jump you will only be accompanied by one instructor. If you successfully complete all seven jumps you will be cleared to solo (but still under student status).
Skydive Georgia can usually get you cleared to solo in two to three days.
This is truly a spectacular program! We pride in our selves on our high success rate and the quality of instruction.
After your ground school you will be geared up for your first jump. A quick ride in our large turboprop aircraft and after more than 1 minute of freefall you pull your ripcord and fly your parachute with help for your landing from an instructor on the radio. This program involves 7 levels of instruction and is the quickest way to becoming a licensed skydiver.
Skydive Georgia, unlike any dropzones in this area, offers its students discounted professional continuing education training. You will jump with an experienced AFF instructor who will personally train you in advanced skydiving techniques and provide you with immediate feedback throughout your skydive with a pre and post dive critique.
